They are derived data — we deliver the mid-market price (the average of the bid and ask) from a regulated broker's real-time market feed, with the underlying pricing derived from exchange-traded futures (e.g., Brent → ICE Futures Europe, WTI → NYMEX). For classification purposes on your end, the data should be treated as aggregated/derived, not as a direct exchange feed.
